”This is not the droid you’re looking for...” Baby Yoda is right but you might be surprised to learn that the Gray Catbird has one of the most ”droid like” songs in the bird world.
Many of his beeps and clicking sounds are definitely Star Wars worthy.
Gray Catbirds are similar to mocking birds in that they can copy many songs from other birds and remix them to great effect.
Maybe they’re the hip-hop DJs of the bird world?
I’ll be sitting on the porch with my glass of wine, listening for the next mix that can knock ”uptown funk” off the charts.
